Orohaven is located next to the Kokoda Airstrip making it the ideal retreat to start from or finish your trek at.

The accomodation at present is backpacker style accommodation in locally constructed grass huts.

We have enclosed outdoor showers with hot water and flushing toilets as well.

Our laundry has a comercial washing machine which can be used to wash your clothes when completing the trek.

We have a fridge to keep your drinks cold, which will be welcomed after a week on the trail.

The retreat is available to all trekking companies to use, as we wish to make everyones trek as enjoyable as possible no matter which trekking operator is used.

You do not necessarily have to walk the track to stay here either. We offer short bush walks around the surrounding area design for everyones fitness level. Maybe you would just like to walk to Isurava memorial and back.

The length of your bush walks are entirely up to you and an experienced guide can be provided if you require at an additional cost.
