Orohaven is located along side the Kokoda Airstrip, less than 5 minutes walk from the terminal building. The retreat consists of six large huts. Each of the huts can comfortably accommodate up to thirteen trekkers.

Two fresh water rivers run alongside the retreat which are great for a refreshing dip.

Electricity is supplied by an onsite generator, which allows us to provide hot showers, flushing toilets, movies and cold cold beer.

Pizza is the main meal currently being cooked by our onsite chef. You may also choose a meal from our Asian style menu. You will not be dissapointed.

Orohaven also has a fully qualified masseur, so a massage can be booked in advance for when you complete the trek.

Because of the location it is the ideal ending point or starting point for a trek. You will not find any better accommodation in Kokoda or the surrounding areas.

Traditional huts that can sleep up to 20 people dormitory style. We have several huts and can accommodate over 100 tourists at anyone time. Or, pay extra and have a hut all to yourself.
